OK - please try to reply clearly.
So as it seems to rely on booting with a single ptn, we need two boots.
1. Boot to E2B - select 'remove ptn 2 and reboot' menu
2. Boot to E2B again (now BIOS sees only 1 ptn) and automatically re-instates ptn 2.
3. Pick Ghost ISO from E2B menu.
To make this happen, please can you re-run your tests as before, but instead of using partnew (hd0,1) 0 0 0 can you use parttype (hd0,1) 0 and parttype (hd0,3) 0
If that works, then I may be able to devise something for you easily. If it does not work and we must use partnew, then it will be more difficult (but not impossible).
