if you only want to MBR-boot linux, then I suggest you use the .ISO files.
If you convert Windows Install ISOs to .imgPTN, take care to answer the EI.cfg file question carefully and then you can install all the different Editions which are inside the install.wim file.
If you name the file extension as .imgPTNAUTO then it will switch without prompting you.
