I managed to get it working on a 3rd (and old computer), running windows 8.1 x64 MBR, it's funny, I did exactly the same as I had done on the 2 previous computers, and 2 of the computers have exactly the same setup, except for the hardware of course ...
the files I have run are : ubuntu x64 15.04 iso, windows 8.1 iso, clonezilla-live-2.4.2-10-i686-pae , none of these files worked on the 2 first machines, and all of them worked on the last ...
