It were USB keys, not hdds. Win8 2Go certified. Two Kingston DataTraveler Workspace which lasted for a few months. And one SuperTalent USB 3.0 Express RC8, only lasted for a few days. All of them became quite hot after a few minutes. At least they were fast...
I already stumbled over these pages while searching for a solution. But I was hoping there was something which wouldn't require me to swap the partitions every time I want to add something my FAT partition.
Thinking about it again, it maybe is not to bad with RMprepUSB being portable. So thanks for your hint for thinking about it again :-)
I'd still prefer a solution which doesn't require me to swap the partitions, though.
