Just want to chime in and say I'm experiencing this too. In fact that's how I ended up here, by Googling for a solution. My E2B stick boots really quick on my old HP DV6 laptop, but I just tried it on my desktop (AMD Athlon II 965 Black Edition) and it is painfully slow. I've tried all 8 USB ports, even the 3.0's, and it's all the same. You're not the only one Jon. There's at least 2 of us ;)
