I tested the latest QEMU for 64-bit but i had some problems.
1. Huge filelist to copy with loads of big DLLs
2. Still won't boot Win8 64-bit
3. Twice as slow as the old QEMU 32-bit version in E2B\RMPrepUSB.
As you say, the advantage is that you can use more RAM with the new version.
On balance, I prefer VBOX+VMUB - much faster and more reliable!
